AACC LCP 23

The Asian American Cultural Center (AACC) is excited to continue its AACC Leadership Certificate program! By completing a curated ‘Playlist’ of programs and opportunities, the aim of this program is to support your identity development, encourage intercultural engagement, and build a community at Yale that will help you thrive as a leader. Throughout the academic year, we will add AACC events to our Playlist for you to choose from and sign up for via Yale Connect. Here is a breakdown of the requirements for our AACC Leadership Certificate:

1) Complete this sign up form and attend an introductory meeting with the AACC Associate Director (you will receive an email shortly after submitting your form to schedule your meeting)

2) Attend minimum required AACC events offered through the AACC Yale Connect page and indicated as ‘AACC Leadership Track’ via event description.

3) Attend any one event offered by another department/group (i.e. Afro-American Cultural Center, La Casa Cultural, Native American Cultural Center, Good Life Center, YC3, The Community Initiative at Yale, etc). Please check-in with the AACC Associate Director prior to signing up to ensure it is included in the Playlist.

4) Have a 30-minute AACC Reflection Meeting with an AACC staff member (undergraduate or graduate student staff) after completing steps 1 to 3.

Save the Date! Our AACC Awards Night will be towards the end of Spring semester where we’ll be recognizing participants who have completed the AACC Leadership Certificate program!

Please Note: The AACC Leadership Certificate program will run from the start of the semester until April. You will need to sign up for most events via Yale Connect and ensure you have checked in to guarantee participation. You must attend the entirety of events unless otherwise excused by the AACC Director/Associate Director.
